Marion Borst

Marion Borst is an Oakland based artist who works out of her art studio near Jack London Square. This studio has been a great inspiration to her because it is right by the water in an old boat warehouse. It has become a second home after many years of working in the same art space.

 

She grew up in Alameda and then went to San Francisco State University for her BFA Painting & Drawing, her teaching credential, and finally her Masters.She chose teaching in order remain in a creative state and have the opportunity to give back to others. It has allowed her to share her skills with students and continue to learn about her self as an artist.
